Welcome to Glebe Hall, nestled near the church in the pretty village of Mawgan-in-Meneage in a designated Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Here in this very special part of Cornwall, you can relax, unwind and explore the wooded creeks of the beautiful Helford River and the breathtaking coastline of the Lizard Peninsula.

Once forming the coach house and stables to The Old Rectory, each cottage has two bedrooms with accommodation set across three floors and together the four cottages share a large private walled courtyard garden enjoying much afternoon and evening sunshine.
AT GLEBE HALL
Glebe Hall is your home from home, with plenty to do in the grounds themselves for those days when you don't want to move far. The pool is heated and open from May until September. The Games Room with table tennis, table football, pool table and DVD, books and games library is perfect for rainy days and evening entertainment. For fine evenings there are BBQs in the stone-walled courtyard garden. A laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers is there if you need it.

LOCATION
Nestled near the gateway to the Lizard Peninsula near the 13th century church in the quiet little village of Mawgan-in-Meneage. Jutting out into the western approaches, the peninsula is home to some of Cornwall's finest beaches including Kynance Cove and Poldhu. The village of Mawgan is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has a wonderful shop with delicious local produce and a small pub with a big reputation for fine dining. There are so many special places on the doorstep, that once you are here, there is no need to go very far at all.

NEAR GLEBE HALL
Porthleven
Set around a stone harbour, Porthleven has become a mecca for foodies in recent years. Enjoy a pint at the iconic Ship Inn overlooking the surfers around the harbour entrance.
Gweek
Nearby is the village of Gweek with its fantastic Seal Sanctuary. While there are lots of spots to see seals in the wild here, it’s great to see them up close and watch them being nursed back to health. The Boatyard Cafe in Gweek Classic Boatyard is also a great spot.
Helford
The unspoilt Helford River Estuary is just a just short walk away. Helford Village itself (with an idyllic thatched pub The Shipwrights Arms) lies on the south side and in the summer there is a pedestrian ferry to Helford Passage on the north bank.
Roskilly's Farm
Go and watch the cows being milked before tasting one of their delicious ice creams.
There are calves and goats, a great shop, café, restaurant and more.
Kynance Cove
This National Trust beach really is as beautiful as all the photographs you will have seen. Cliff walk down to the cove and beautiful turquoise waters for an early morning swim.
Poldhu Beach
This beach has a great café and a brilliant surfing school. Poldhu, meaning “black pool” in Cornish, is situated on the west coast of the Lizard about a mile north of Mullion.
Trelowarren
The historic Trelowarren Estate has been the seat of the Vyvyan family for generations. The New Yard restaurant in the courtyard has long been one of our favourites in Cornwall, and Cafe Flora is great for coffee, cakes and pizza too.
Frenchman's Creek
This romantic wooded creek was the setting for Daphne du Maurier's novel of the same name. Walk along the creek and round to Penarvon Cove and Helford Village, with lunch at The Shipwrights Arms, right on the water's edge.
Tremayne Quay
Originally built by Sir Richard Vyvyan in 1847, anticipating a visit from Queen Victoria. The planned visit never happened but this riverside quay is now owned by the National Trust, with a lovely walk through beautiful ancient woodland. Pick up your pasty from Gear Farm en route!
